The activities of the Ipswich District of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) are organised by a committee comprised of representatives of local AA and Al-Anon groups to promote events organised within the greater Ipswich area.

 

The headline event is the annual OKsoberfest, a weekend of AA talks, meetings and social activities, that are open to members and the public. The OKsoberfest venue is within the Ipswich Showgrounds with facilities for motorhomes and caravans subject to pre-booking.

The Ipswich District is within Area C of AA in Queensland and represents groups meeting in Ipswich City and further afield to Goodna, Boona, Minden and Gatton.
